Spent a nice afteroon at the weekend at Wilstone Reserve walking up to the hide a nice Grey Wagtail showing along the edge and young Common Terns were fishing quite close and a super pair of young Little ringed plovers feeding on the mini island.

Then walked around to the hide where there was a nice selection of ducks out in front of the hide with Teal, Shoveler, Gadwall and Tufted Duck still mainly moulting. After watching for a while had a nice Hobbey fly around for a bit and a nice group of 6 Yellow Wagtails flew in for about 10 minutes and out in front Common and green Sandpipers appeared along with a group of 3 Ringed Plovers and at least 2 greenshank in all a productive few hours in the hide.

Then walked back where had a few Chiff-chaffs in the woody area at the back and Terns, Great Crested Grebes and Mute Swan showing nice in the evening light.
