A break from the rain

With a winter cough and the rain haven't had a chance to get out much but last sunday managed to get to see the Buff-bellied Pipit which had been showing recently at the Queen Mothers Reservoir showing very well done to two feet at times. After spending some time with the pipit had a nice walk around the reservoir with birds of interest including Ring-necked Parakeet, Shoveler, Tufted Duck and a after quite a hunt Long-tailed Duck a nice inland record.
